State/UT-wise Number of Cases Disposed through Legal Aid Defense Counsel System (LADCS) during 2024-25

This chart presents information about the State/UT-wise number of cases disposed through the Legal Aid Defense Counsel System (LADCS) during 2024-25 (up to December 2024). A total of 2,66,856 cases were disposed of under LADCS during 2024-25. The top 10 States/UTs in terms of number of cases disposed were Bihar (34,751), Jharkhand (23,144), Uttar Pradesh (20,647), Punjab (17,502), West Bengal (16,907), Assam (16,882), Madhya Pradesh (14,575), Haryana (14,427), Maharashtra (14,152), and Tamil Nadu (13,260).
