The total number of athletes who have received financial assistance was 2,752 under the Khelo India Scheme. The top 5 State/UT in terms of athletes who have received financial assistance under the Khelo India Scheme were Haryana (467), Maharashtra (347), Uttar Pradesh (186), Tamil Nadu (173), and Punjab (169).
