The total number of accounts was 41,54,78,589 under Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) as on 28.07.2021. The top 10 States/UTs in terms of accounts were Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Assam, Odisha, Gujarat, and Jharkhand.
