State/UT-wise Funds Released under Samagra Shiksha Scheme during 2021-22

Samagra Shiksha – an overarching programme for the school education sector extending from pre-school to class 12 has been, therefore, prepared with the broader goal of improving school effectiveness measured in terms of equal opportunities for schooling and equitable learning outcomes.
A total of Rs. 7,66,238.66 lakhs of funds were released under the scheme of Samagra Shiksha during 2021-22. The top 10 states/Uts in terms of funds released were Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
