State/UT-wise Forest Fire Detected by Forest Survey of India using SNPP-VIIRS Sensors from November 2022 to June 2023

This chart shows information about the State/UT-wise Forest Fire Detected by the Forest Survey of India using Suomi-National Polar-orbiting Partnership – Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (SNPP-VIIRS) Sensors from November 2022 to June 2023. A total number of 2,12,249 forest fires were detected by the Forest Survey of India using Suomi-National Polar-orbiting Partnership – Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (SNPP-VIIRS) Sensors. The top 10 State/UT in terms of forest fire detected were Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Manipur, and Assam.
