Top 5 state/UT in terms of funds allocated for development and maintenance of National Highways during 2024-25 was Maharashtra (Rs. 11,887 crores), Uttar Pradesh (Rs. 11,794 crores), Andhra Pradesh (Rs. 6,721 crores), Karnataka (Rs. 6,173 crores) and Jammu and Kashmir (Rs. 5,475 crores).
