As on 01.03.2018 there were 10422499 LPG consumers who had voluntarily surrendered their LPG subsidy under ‘GiveItUp’ campaign. The top 5 States/UTs in terms of number of LPG consumers who had voluntarily surrendered their LPG subsidy under ‘GiveItUp’ campaign as on 01.03.2018 were Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
The number of LPG consumers who had voluntarily surrendered their LPG subsidy under ‘GiveItUp’ campaign was 1692189 from Maharashtra as on 01.03.2018. It accounted 16.24% of the total number of LPG consumers who had voluntarily surrendered their LPG subsidy under ‘GiveItUp’ campaign as on 01.03.2018. There were 1267729 LPG consumers who had voluntarily surrendered their LPG subsidy under ‘GiveItUp’ campaign from Uttar Pradesh as on 01.03.2018, which accounted 12.16% of the total number of LPG consumers who had voluntarily surrendered their LPG subsidy under ‘GiveItUp’ campaign as on 01.03.2018. The number of LPG consumers who had voluntarily surrendered their LPG subsidy under ‘GiveItUp’ campaign was 812301 from Delhi as on 01.03.2018. It accounted 7.79% of the total number of LPG consumers who had voluntarily surrendered their LPG subsidy under ‘GiveItUp’ campaign as on 01.03.2018.
The number of LPG consumers who had voluntarily surrendered their LPG subsidy under ‘GiveItUp’ campaign was 753975 and 661866 from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu respectively as on 01.03.2018. Karnataka and Tamil Nadu accounted for 7.23% and 6.25% respectively of the total number of LPG consumers who had voluntarily surrendered their LPG subsidy under ‘GiveItUp’ campaign as on 01.03.2018.
The above mentioned top 5 States/UTs accounted for 49.78% of the total number of LPG consumers who had voluntarily surrendered their LPG subsidy under ‘GiveItUp’ campaign as on 01.03.2018.
