The total 7,951.67 lakhs beneficiaries covered under the National Food Security Act. 2013 (NFSA) as on 25.07.2021. The top 10 states/Uts in terms of beneficiaries under NFSA were Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Odisha.
