State Disaster Response Fund Allocation and Release to Drought Affected States in 2015-16

The total allocation of State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) to all the drought affected states was Rs. 4860 crores in 2015-16. The total release of SDRF to all the drought affected states was Rs. 4928.98 crores in 2015-16. Thus, the total release of SDRF to all the drought affected states was 101.42% of total allocation of SDRF in 2015-16.

The allocation of SDRF to Andhra Pradesh was Rs. 330 crores in 2015-16. The release of SDRF to Andhra Pradesh was Rs. 330 crores in 2015-16. The percentage allocation of SDRF to Andhra Pradesh was 6.79% of all the drought affected states. The allocation of SDRF to Chhattisgarh was Rs. 180.75 crores in 2015-16. The release of SDRF to Chhattisgarh was Rs. 249.725 crores in 2015-16. The percentage allocation of SDRF to Chhattisgarh was 3.72% of all the drought affected states. In case of Chhattisgarh, the release of SDRF was 138.16% of allocation of SDRF in 2015-16.
