Coronavirus Disease (COVID 19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered Coronavirus. The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes. The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to protect yourself and others from infection, by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching your face.

The Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Government of Tamil Nadu is bringing out daily bulletin on the status of COVID-19.

Based on this data, the graph derived as given below, explains in details, the COVID-19 Positive Cases Month wise and Sex wise (Male/Female/Transgender) in Tamil Nadu from April 2020 to March 2021.
