Schools Providing Mid-day Meal (Government and Aided Managements)

Increasing trend has been seen in India in Percentage of Schools Providing Mid-day Meal (Government and Aided Managements) 92.06% in 2011-12 and 94.83% in 2012-13.

Himachal Pradesh has highest Percentage of Schools Providing Mid-day Meal (Government and Aided Managements) 99.14% in 2012-13 in comparison to other states followed by 99.41% in 2011-12.

Nagaland has lowest Percentage of Schools Providing Mid-day Meal (Government and Aided Managements) 80.56% in 2012-13 in comparison to other states followed by 74.13% in 2011-12.

Twelve States/UTs viz. Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Daman & Diu, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal are below the National estimate 94.83% in 2012-13.
