Total scheduled International freight carried by all scheduled domestic airlines to & from India was 100887 tonnes during 2004-05, out of which 33493 tonnes was carried to India and 67394 tonnes was carried from India. Annual growth of 14.5% has been seen in scheduled International freight carried by all scheduled domestic airlines to & from India during 2004-05 over the previous year.
We have observed annual decline of -3% in scheduled International freight carried by all scheduled domestic airlines to & from India during 2015-16 from 243939 tonnes during 2014-15. Scheduled International freight carried by all scheduled domestic airlines to & from India was 284409.8 tonnes during 2016-17, up by 20.2% versus 236564.5 tonnes during 2015-16. Out of the total 284409.8 tonnes freight carried during 2016-17; 108857.4 tonnes freight was carried to India and 175552.4 tonnes freight was carried from India. Out of the total 236564.5 tonnes freight carried during 2015-16; 92702.8 tonnes was carried to India and 143861.6 tonnes was carried from India.
Maximum annual growth rate of 21.1% has been found in 2012-13 in scheduled International freight carried by all scheduled domestic airlines to & from India during the period under consideration.
