The savings amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in Northern Region was Rs. 23992 lakhs as on 31-03-2015. The total number of SHGs in Northern Region was 360858 as on 31-03-2015. The top 3 states in terms of the savings amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in the Northern Region were: Rajasthan, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh as on 31-03-2015.

The savings amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in Rajasthan was Rs. 14379 lakhs as on 31-03-2015. It accounted for 59.93% of the total Savings Amount of SHGs with banks in Northern Region as on 31-03-2015. The total number of SHGs in Rajasthan was 245903 as on 31-03-2015.

It accounted for 11.04% of the total savings amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in Northern Region as on 31-03-2015. The total number of SHGs in Himachal Pradesh was 37838 as on 31-03-2015.
