In June 2013, urban and rural teledensity stood at 145.35 and 41.9 respectively. In comparison to June 2012, rural teledensity grew at 3%, but urban teledensity has fallen by 14%.
During 2009-2013(till June 2013) urban teledensity grew at a CAGR of 11.2% and rural teledensity grew at a CAGR of 26%. During this period Urban teledensity reached to its peak in March 2012 and rural teledensity has reached to its peak level in June 2013.
