Roads Completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) upto March 2015

The total length of road works completed under PMGSY in India was 436315.95 kilometers upto March 2015. The top 10 states in terms of the total length of road works completed under PMGSY upto March 2015 were: Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Karnataka.

The total length of road works completed under PMGSY in Madhya Pradesh was 60386.23 kilometers upto March 2015. It accounted for 13.84% of the total length of road works completed under PMGSY in India upto March 2015. The total length of road works completed under PMGSY in Rajasthan was 56281 kilometers upto March 2015. It accounted for 12.9% of the total length of road works completed under PMGSY in India upto March 2015. The total length of road works completed under PMGSY in Uttar Pradesh was 43216.7 kilometers upto March 2015. It accounted for 9.9% of the total length of road works completed under PMGSY in India upto March 2015. The total length of road works completed under PMGSY in Bihar was 32913.58 kilometers upto March 2015. It accounted for 7.54% of the total length of road works completed under PMGSY in India upto March 2015. The total length of road works completed under PMGSY in Odisha was 32387.82 kilometers upto March 2015. It accounted for 7.42% of the total length of road works completed under PMGSY in India upto March 2015. These top 5 states accounted for 51.6% of the total length of road works completed under PMGSY in India as a whole upto March 2015.

The total length of road works completed under PMGSY in Chhattisgarh was 24426.49 kilometers upto March 2015 (5.6% of All India). The total length of road works completed under PMGSY in Maharashtra was 22946.28 kilometers upto March 2015 (5.26% of All India). The total length of road works completed under PMGSY in Andhra Pradesh was 21294.77 kilometers upto March 2015 (4.88% of All India). The total length of road works completed under PMGSY in West Bengal was 17991.47 kilometers upto March 2015 (4.12% of All India). The total length of road works completed under PMGSY in Karnataka was 16765.92 kilometers upto March 2015 (3.84% of All India).

The above mentioned top 10 states accounted for 75.3% of the total length of road works completed under PMGSY in India as a whole upto March 2015.
