Rice Production in India from 2015-16 to 2019-20

India has witnessed an increasing trend in per hectare rice production from 2015-16 to 2019-20.

The production of rice in India was 2,400 kg per hectare in 2015-16. It has surged by 3.92% to 2,494 kg per hectare in India during 2016-17 over 2015-16. We have observed annual growth of 2.41% in production of rice in India during 2018-19 from 2,576 kg per hectare during 2017-18. The rice production in India was 2,703 kg per hectare during 2019-20, up by 2.46% against 2,638 kg per hectare during 2018-19.

The maximum growth of 3.92% has been seen in 2016-17 in per hectare production of rice in India during the period under consideration.
