Revenue of Major State Road Transport Undertakings in 2013-14 and 2014-15

There were 7 major State Road Transport Undertakings (SRTUs) having total revenue of more than 200000 lakhs viz. Maharashtra SRTC, Andhra Pradesh SRTC, Telangana SRTC, Uttar Pradesh SRTC, Karnataka SRTC, Gujarat SRTC and Bangalore Metropolitan TC in the Financial Year 2014-15.

The total revenue of Maharashtra SRTC was 725866 lakhs in 2014-15. It increased from 673754 lakhs in 2013-14, recording a growth of 52112 lakhs as compared to 2013-14. In percentage terms, the annual growth was 7.73% over 2013-14.

The total revenue of Andhra Pradesh SRTC was 480768.07 lakhs in 2014-15. The total revenue of combined Andhra Pradesh SRTC, before the division of Telangana, was 744066.16 lakhs in 2013-14. The total revenue of Telangana SRTC was 399084.22 lakhs in 2014-15. It increased from 374292.87 lakhs in 2013-14, recording a growth of 24791.35 lakhs as compared to 2013-14. In percentage terms, the annual growth was 6.62% over 2013-14.

The total revenue of Uttar Pradesh SRTC was 327554.55 lakhs in 2014-15. It increased from 296793.42 lakhs in 2013-14, recording a growth of 30761.13 lakhs as compared to 2013-14. In percentage terms, the annual growth was 10.36% over 2013-14. The total revenue of Karnataka SRTC was 320468.94 lakhs in 2014-15. It increased from 296692.32 lakhs in 2013-14, recording a growth of 23776.62 lakhs as compared to 2013-14. In percentage terms, the annual growth was 8.01% over 2013-14.

The total revenue of Gujarat SRTC was 286218.46 lakhs in 2014-15. It increased from 277819.16 lakhs in 2013-14, recording a growth of 8399.3 lakhs as compared to 2013-14. In percentage terms, the annual growth was 3.02% over 2013-14. The total revenue of Bangalore Metropolitan TC was 225684.43 lakhs in 2014-15. It increased from 201394.23 lakhs in 2013-14, recording a growth of 24290.2 lakhs as compared to 2013-14. In percentage terms, the annual growth was 12.06% over 2013-14.
