Revenue from Customs Duties in India during 2006-07 to 2012-13

During 2006-07 to 2012-13 Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of India’s Revenue from Import Duties, Export Duties, Export Cess Duties and Other Receipts were 11.0%, 46.4%, -17.2% and 29.7% respectively. During this period; CAGR of overall Customs Revenue was 11.5%. Revenue from Import Duties increased by 14.3% from Rs. 139613 Crores in 2011-12 to Rs. 159642 Crores in 2012-13, Export Duties declined by 56.1% from Rs. 6414 Crores in 2011-12 to Rs. 2814 Crores in 2012-13, Export Cess Duties declined by 45.5% from Rs. 66 Crores in 2011-12 to Rs. 36 Crores in 2012-13 and Other Receipts declined by 8.0% from Rs. 3783 Crores in 2011-12 to Rs. 3481 Crores in 2012-13. In 2012-13 overall Customs Revenue stood at Rs. 165973 Crores by an increment of 10.7% YoY.
