India has witnessed an increasing trend in reserves of Natural Gas during 2004-2012. During 2004-12, reserves of Natural Gas grew by 44.2% from 922.8 Billion Cubic Metres in 2004 to 1330.26 Billion Cubic Metres in 2012. During this period, reserves of Gujarat decreased by 18.4% from 95.87 Billion Cubic Metres in 2004 to 78.19 Billion Cubic Metres in 2012. During this period, reserves of Assam (1) increased by 3.0% from 172.95 Billion Cubic Metres in 2004 to 178.136 Billion Cubic Metres in 2012. During this period, reserves of Andhra Pradesh increased by 1.3% from 41.75 Billion Cubic Metres in 2004 to 42.3 Billion Cubic Metres in 2012. During this period, reserves of Tamil Nadu increased by 40.4% from 28.0 Billion Cubic Metres in 2004 to 39.3 Billion Cubic Metres in 2012. During this period, reserves of Western (2) offshore increased by 30.9% from 394.13 Billion Cubic Metres in 2004 to 516.034 Billion Cubic Metres in 2012. During this period, reserves of Eastern (3) offshore increased by 150.6% from 190.1 Billion Cubic Metres in 2004 to 476.3 Billion Cubic Metres in 2012.
