Reserves of Crude Oil in India during 2004-12

During 2004-12, reserves of Crude Oil grew by 2.8% from 739.08 million tonnes in 2004 to 759.59 million tonnes in 2012. Reserves were maximum (786.04) in 2005 and lowest (725.38) in 2007.
Reserves of Gujarat and Eastern offshore(&) decreased by 22.4% (174.83 in 2004 to 135.72 in 2012)and 60.2% (60.54 in 2004 to 24.12 in 2012) respectively.

On the other side, reserves of Assam($), Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Western Offshore(#) increased by 5.0% (170.22 in 2004 to 178.71 in 2012), 30.6% (4.28 in 2004 to 5.59 in 2012), 10.6%(8.01 in 2004 to 8.86 in 2012) and 26.6% (321.20 in 2004 to 406.59 in 2012) respective during 2004-12.
