Region-wise Percentage share of Crude Oil Production during 2016

World Crude Oil production was 4382.393 million tonnes during 2016. We have observed a compound annual growth rate of 1.63% in production of Crude Oil in the World during 2010 to 2016 from 3976.548 million tonnes.

Crude Oil production in North America Region was 882.622 million tonnes during 2016. It accounted 20.14% of the total Crude Oil produced in the World during 2016. Crude Oil production in S. & Cent. America Region was 384.482 million tonnes during 2016. It accounted 8.773% of the total Crude Oil produced in the World during 2016. Crude Oil production in Europe & Eurasia Region was 860.581 million tonnes during 2016. It accounted 19.637% of the total Crude Oil produced in the World during 2016.

Crude Oil production in Middle East Region was 1496.922 million tonnes during 2016, which accounted 34.158% of the total Crude Oil produced in the World. Crude Oil production in Africa Region was 374.78 million tonnes during 2016, which accounted 8.552% of the total Crude Oil produced in the World. Crude Oil production in Asia Pacific Region was 383.006 million tonnes during 2016, which accounted 8.74% of the total Crude Oil produced in the World.
