The top 3 regions with respect to foreign tourist arrivals (FTAs) in India during 2019 were South Asia, Western Europe and North America. The number of FTAs in India was 3375819, 2178441 and 1863892 from South Asia, Western Europe and North America region respectively during 2019.

During 2019, there were 930540, 782225, 456481, 438939, 431943, 362308 and 98926 FTAs in India from South East Asia, East Asia, Eastern Europe, Australasia, West Asia, Africa and Central & South America region respectively.
