India has witnessed an unstable trend in realisation of excise duties from petroleum gases and other gaseous hydrocarbons during 2012-13 to 2018-19. However, we have observed compound annual de-growth rate of -46.67% in realisation of excise duties from petroleum gases and other gaseous hydrocarbons during the period under consideration.
Realisation of excise duties from petroleum gases and other gaseous hydrocarbons was Rs. 1,912 crore in 2012-13. It has increased by 5.49% to Rs. 2,017 crore during 2013-14 over 2012-13. Annual decline of -77.87% has been seen in realisation of excise duties from petroleum gases and other gaseous hydrocarbons during 2017-18 from Rs. 1,193 crore during 2016-17. Realisation of excise duties from petroleum gases and other gaseous hydrocarbons was Rs. 44 crore in 2018-19, down by -83.33% versus Rs. 264 crore during 2017-18.
The maximum annual growth rate of 5.49% has been found in 2013-14 in realisation of excise duties from petroleum gases and other gaseous hydrocarbons during the period under consideration.
