The Open Government Data Portal of Tamil Nadu https://data.tn.gov.in has been established to provide collated access to the resources (data-sets/apps) under the catalogs, published by different Government Departments of Government of Tamil Nadu in a structured machine readable format. The portal presently has 21,675 resources/datasets in 1569 catalogs covering 62 Departments.
The Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine has been contributing the daily status of COVID-19 (Corona virus Disease) in Tamil Nadu and the same has been uploaded on a daily basis, starting from 16th July 2020 onwards, in the TNOGD portal.
A document from Evaluation and Applied Research Department has been uploaded in the portal under Announcements tab namely “Tamil Nadu – An Economic Appraisal from 2011 – 2014 by the Department of Evaluation and Applied Research” and The URL for the document is https://tn.data.gov.in/sites/default/files/Tamil%20Nadu%20-%20An%20Economic%20Appraisal%20from%202011%20to%202014.pdf
The datasets from State Development Planning Council (SDPC) have been updated as detailed below:
The Department of Economics and Statistics has contributed datasets on various parameters in the form of “Tamil Nadu at a Glance 2020” has been updated for free availability to those who are interested.
In addition, the Theni District Hand Book data for the year 2017-18, from the Department of Economics and Statistics, has been uploaded in the portal.
