Progress Update of Tamil Nadu Open Government Data Portal as on 30th September 2020

The Open Government Data Portal of Tamil Nadu https://data.tn.gov.in,  has been established  to provide collated access to the resources (data-sets/apps) under the catalogs, published by different Government Departments  of Government of Tamil Nadu in a structured machine readable format. The portal presently has 20,363 resources/datasets in 1465 Catalogs covering 61 Departments.

The Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine has been contributing the daily status of COVID-19 (Corona virus Disease) in Tamil Nadu and the same has been uploaded on a daily basis, Starting from 16^th July 2020 onwards, in the TNOGD portal.

In addition, the District’s Hand Book data of 4 districts namely Ariyalur, Erode, Tiruchirappalli and Dharmapuri for the year 2017-18, from the Department of Economics and Statistics has been uploaded in the portal.
