The number of accounts opened under Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) as on 25.11.2015 by Public Sector Banks was 151386532 which was 78.26% of total number of accounts opened by all banks under PMJDY i.e. 193437174 as on 25.11.2015 in the entire country. The number of accounts opened under PMJDY as on 25.11.2015 by Regional Rural Banks was 34762369 which was 17.97% of total number of accounts opened by all banks under PMJDY in the entire country. The number of accounts opened under PMJDY as on 25.11.2015 by Private Banks was 7288273 which was 3.77% of total number of accounts opened by all banks under PMJDY in the entire country.
The number of Rupay Debit Cards issued under PMJDY as on 25.11.2015 by Public Sector Banks was 134546043 which was 81.04% of total number of Rupay Debit Cards issued by all banks under PMJDY i.e. 166017452 as on 25.11.2015 in the entire country. The number of Rupay Debit Cards issued under PMJDY as on 25.11.2015 by Regional Rural Banks was 25045083 which was 15.09% of total number of Rupay Debit Cards issued by all banks under PMJDY in the entire country. The number of Rupay Debit Cards issued under PMJDY as on 25.11.2015 by Private Banks was 6426326 which was 3.87% of total number of Rupay Debit Cards issued by all banks under PMJDY in the entire country.
The number of accounts with Zero Balance under PMJDY as on 25.11.2015 of Public Sector Banks was 53185861 which was 78.6% of total number of accounts with Zero Balance of all banks under PMJDY i.e. 67670775 as on 25.11.2015 in the entire country. The number of accounts with Zero Balance under PMJDY as on 25.11.2015 of Regional Rural Banks was 11482927 which was 16.97% of total number of accounts with Zero Balance of all banks under PMJDY in the entire country. The number of accounts with Zero Balance under PMJDY as on 25.11.2015 of Private Banks was 3001987 which was 4.44% of total number of accounts with Zero Balance of all banks under PMJDY in the entire country.
The number of accounts with Aadhaar Seeding under PMJDY as on 25.11.2015 of Public Sector Banks was 69966378 which was 85.43% of total number of accounts with Aadhaar Seeding of all banks under PMJDY i.e. 81903034 as on 25.11.2015 in the entire country. The number of accounts with Aadhaar Seeding under PMJDY as on 25.11.2015 of Regional Rural Banks was 9672558 which was 11.81% of total number of accounts with Aadhaar Seeding of all banks under PMJDY in the entire country. The number of accounts with Aadhaar Seeding under PMJDY as on 25.11.2015 of Private Banks was 2264098 which was 2.76% of total number of accounts with Aadhaar Seeding of all banks under PMJDY in the entire country.
