This visualization gives the insight of the Production of top 5 Major Minerals in Madhya Pradesh from 2004-05 to 2012-13. Coal, Iron Ore, Copper Ore, Limestone and Diamond are the major minerals in Madhya Pradesh. Production of Coal in 2004-05 was 52511 (000 M.T.) and 77433 (000 M.T.) in 2012-13 that had shown 47.5% of growth. Production of Iron Ore in 2004-05 was 216 (000 M.T.) and 1421 (000 M.T.) in 2012-13 that had shown 557.9% of growth.
Production of Copper Ore in 2004-05 was 2052 (000 M.T.) and 2257 (000 M.T.) in 2012-13 that had shown 10.0% of growth. Production of Limestone in 2004-05 was 26955 (000 M.T.) and 33942 (000 M.T.) in 2012-13 that had shown 25.9% of growth. Production of Diamond in 2004-05 was 78316 (Carats) and 31989 (Carats) in 2012-13 that had shown decline of 59.2%. Among all the minerals, Diamond has shown declination from period 2004-05 to 2008-09 and slow growth from 2009-10 to 2012-13. Growth rate in production of Iron Ore was highest among the production of other minerals in Madhya Pradesh.
