Production of Synthetic Fibers / Yarn under Major Petrochemicals from 2012-13 to 2019-20

Synthetic Fibers / Yarn Products namely Acrylic Fibre, Polyester Staple Fibrefill, Nylon Filament Yarn, Nylon Industrial Yarn/Tyre Cord, Polyester Filament Yarn, Polyester Staple Fibre, Polypropylene Filament Yarn, Polypropylene Staple Fibre, Polyster Industrial Yarn, and Elastomeric/Spandex Filament Yarn were produced during 2012-13 to 2019-20.

Total production of Synthetic Fibers / Yarn were 3126.75 thousand metric tonne during 20219-20. The highest production of Polyester Filament Yarn was 2520.33 thousand metric tonne during 2019-20. The lowest production of Polypropylene Filament Yarn was 2.52 thousand metric tonne during 2019-20.
