The petrochemical products namely Low Density Polyethylene, High Density Polythylene, Polyestyrene, Polypropylene (inc. Co-polymer), Expandable Polyestyrene, Poly Vinyl Chloride, and Linear Low Density Polythylene were produced under Polymers group during 2013-14 to 2020-21.
The total production of Polymers was 12,143.63 thousand metric tonnes during 2020-21. In 2020-21, the highest production of Linear Low Density Polythylene which was 2,958.92 thousand metric tonnes while the lowest production of Expandable Polyestyrene was 87.39 thousand metric tonnes in comparison of others polymer products.
Note – Figures in 000 MT. Production data in respect of PetroChemicals is based on MPRs received from manufacturers under large and medium scale units monitored by S&M Division of DCPC.
