Production of Major Chemicals in India from 2010-11 to 2017-18

India has witnessed an increasing trend in Production of Major Chemicals from 2010-11 to 2017-18. Compound annual growth rate of 280 basis points has been observed in Production of Major Chemicals in India during 2010-11 to 2017-18.

Production of Major Chemicals in India was 9121.17 thousand metric tonne during 2010-11. It has been increased by 3.16% to 9409.38 thousand metric tonne during 2011-12 over 2010-11. We have seen annual growth of 3.54% in Production of Major Chemicals during 2016-17 above 2015-16 from 9883.72 thousand metric tonne. Production of Major Chemicals in India was 11068.47 thousand metric tonne during 2017-18, up by 8.16% versus 10233.72 thousand metric tonne during 2016-17.

Maximum annual growth rate of 8.16% has been seen in 2017-18 in Production of Major Chemicals in India during the period under consideration. Minimum annual growth rate of 0.18% has been found in 2014-15 in Production of Major Chemicals in India during the period under consideration.
