Production and Sales of Arasu Rubber Corporation Limited, Nagercoil as per Statistical Hand Book 2019

Arasu Rubber Corporation (ARC) is functioning under the Department of Environment and Forests, Government of Tamil Nadu. The main activity of the Corporation is to produce natural rubber and to sell as raw rubber to the consumers after processing. ARC is has an area of 4160.78 hectare within Kanniyakumari District, which is the only district suitable for the growth of the rubber in the State. ARC is one of the major natural rubber producers in the country. The factories are located at Keeriparai and Mylar and around 2000 tonnes of natural rubber per year, including Cenex having ISI standard, are produced.

As per the data published in the Statistical Hand Book of Tamil Nadu 2019 by the Department of Economics and Statistics, the graph generated clearly exhibits the statistics of Production, Revenue by Sales and the expenditure incurred by ARC over a period of 8 years from 2010-11 to 2017-18.
