New India Assurance Co. Ltd. (NIACL) had gross premium of Rs. 16050 crores in 2014-15. It increased from Rs. 14303.84 crores in 2013-14, showing an absolute growth of Rs. 1746.16 crores (12.21%) year-on-year. NIACL had net premium of Rs. 13938.8 crores in 2014-15. It increased from Rs. 12078.61 crores in 2013-14, showing an absolute growth of Rs. 1860.19 crores (15.4%) year-on-year.
National Insurance Co. Ltd. (NICL) had gross premium of Rs. 11282.64 crores in 2014-15. It increased from Rs. 10260.97 crores in 2013-14, showing an absolute growth of Rs. 1021.67 crores (9.96%) year-on-year. NICL had net premium of Rs. 10386.75 crores in 2014-15. It increased from Rs. 9421.04 crores in 2013-14, showing an absolute growth of Rs. 965.71 crores (10.25%) year-on-year.
Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd. (OICL) had gross premium of Rs. 7561.93 crores in 2014-15. It increased from Rs. 7282.54 crores in 2013-14, showing an absolute growth of Rs. 279.39 crores (3.84%) year-on-year. OICL had net premium of Rs. 6472.38 crores in 2014-15. It increased from Rs. 6381.47 crores in 2013-14, showing an absolute growth of Rs. 90.91 crores (1.42%) year-on-year.
United India Insurance Co. Ltd. (UIICL) had gross premium of Rs. 10691.73 crores in 2014-15. It increased from Rs. 9708.93 crores in 2013-14, showing an absolute growth of Rs. 982.8 crores (10.12%) year-on-year. UIICL had net premium of Rs. 9326.02 crores in 2014-15. It increased from Rs. 8291.39 crores in 2013-14, showing an absolute growth of Rs. 1034.63 crores (12.48%) year-on-year.
