Power Generation Capacity Addition from Conventional and Renewable Energy Sources during 2015-16 to 2020-21

A total of 117.9 Gigawatt (GW) power generation capacity has been added from 2015-16 to 2020-21 (up to 28.02.2021), from conventional and renewable energy sources. Out of 117.9 GW, 64.4 GW was added from conventional sources while 53.4 GW was added from renewable energy sources.
