Port-wise Import of Chemical Fertilizers (Urea) – March 2015

During the month of March 2015, India had import of 9.06 lakh metric tonne of Urea. During the quarter Jan-Mar 2015, the total import of Urea was 24.92 lakh metric tonne. Hazira Port had import of 0.42 lakh metric tonne of Urea in the month of March 2015. During the Quarter Jan-Mar 2015, the total import of Urea was 1.69 lakh metric tonne. Kakinada Port had import of 1.01 lakh metric tonne of Urea in the month of March 2015. During the Quarter Jan-Mar 2015, the total import of Urea was 2.04 lakh metric tonne.

Kandla Port had import of 3.06 lakh metric tonne of Urea in the month of March 2015. During the Quarter Jan-Mar 2015, the total import of Urea was 5.89 lakh metric tonne. Krishnapatnam Port had import of 0.61 lakh metric tonne of Urea in the month of March 2015. During the Quarter Jan-Mar 2015, the total import of Urea was 1.89 lakh metric tonne.

Mundra Port had import of 1.15 lakh metric tonne of Urea in the month of March 2015. During the Quarter Jan-Mar 2015, the total import of Urea was 5.37 lakh metric tonne. Pipavav Port had import of 1.89 lakh metric tonne of Urea in the month of March 2015. During the Quarter Jan-Mar 2015, the total import of Urea was 4.42 lakh metric tonne.

Vizag Port had import of 0.92 lakh metric tonne of Urea in the month of March 2015. During the Quarter Jan-Mar 2015, the total import of Urea was 1.9 lakh metric tonne. Karaikal Port had total import of 0.64 lakh metric tonne of Urea during the Quarter Jan-Mar 2015. New-Mangalore Port had total import of 1.08 lakh metric tonne of Urea during the Quarter Jan-Mar 2015.

Thus, the top 3 ports in terms of import of Urea in the month of March, 2015 were: Kandla, Pipavav and Mundra.
