Persons Arrested under Crime against Schedule Caste during 2014

The number of persons arrested under crime against Schedule Caste in India was 79031 during the year 2014. The top 10 states in terms of the number of persons arrested under crime against Schedule Caste were: Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Gujarat during the year 2014.

The number of persons arrested under crime against Schedule Caste in Uttar Pradesh was 24980 during the year 2014. It accounted for 31.61% of the number of persons arrested under crime against Schedule Caste in India during the year 2014. The number of persons arrested under crime against Schedule Caste in Bihar was 8934 during the year 2014. It accounted for 11.3% of the number of persons arrested under crime against Schedule Caste in India during the year 2014. The number of persons arrested under crime against Schedule Caste in Madhya Pradesh was 7972 during the year 2014. It accounted for 10.09% of the number of persons arrested under crime against Schedule Caste in India during the year 2014. The number of persons arrested under crime against Schedule Caste in Rajasthan was 6429 during the year 2014. It accounted for 8.13% of the number of persons arrested under crime against Schedule Caste in India during the year 2014.
