India has witnessed an increasing trend in percentage of wards with 100% door to door waste collection in cities from 2015-16 to 2019-20.
The percentage of wards with 100% door to door waste collection was 40.91% in cities in India during 2015-16. It has surged by 9.93% to 50.84% during 2016-17 above 2015-16. We have observed annual growth of 16.18% in percentage of wards with 100% door to door waste collection in cities in India during 2018-19 from 73.91% during 2017-18. The percentage of wards with 100% door to door waste collection in cities in India was 95.97% during 2019-20, up by 5.88% against 90.09% during 2018-19.
The maximum annual growth of 23.07% has been seen in 2017-18 in percentage of wards with 100% door to door waste collection in cities in India during the period under consideration.
