Percentage of Upper Primary Schools having Computer Aided Learning (CAL) Facility

Increasing trend has been seen in India in Upper Primary Schools having Computer Aided Learning (CAL) Facility (18.68% in 2011-12 and 19.1% in 2012-13). Chandigarh has highest percentage of Upper Primary Schools having Computer Aided Learning (CAL) Facility 82.66% in 2011-12 and 82.76% in 2012-13 in comparison to other states. Bihar has lowest percentage of Upper Primary Schools having Computer Aided Learning (CAL) Facility 2.65% in 2011-12 and 3.19% in 2012-13 in comparison to other states. Fifteen States viz. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal are below the National estimate 19.1% in 2012-13.
