Increasing trend has been seen in India in Percentage of ST Girls Enrolment in Upper Primary Classes 48.16% in 2010-11 and 49.03% in 2012-13. Punjab has highest Percentage of ST Girls Enrolment in Upper Primary Classes 60.58% in 2012-13 comparison to other states followed by 39.77% in 2010-11. Haryana has lowest Percentage of ST Girls Enrolment in Upper Primary Classes 0.00% in 2012-13 in comparison to other states followed by 47.86% in 2010-11. Seventeen States/UTs viz. A & N Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Mizoram, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Tripura are below the National estimate 49.03% in 2012-13.
