Percentage of Schools having Enrolment rate upto 50

Delhi has lowest percentage of ‘Schools having Enrolment rate upto 50’ 1.23% in 2010-11 and 1.04% in 2012-13 in comparison to other states. Meghalaya has highest percentage of ‘Schools having Enrolment rate upto 50’ 67.18% in 2010-11 and 65.44% in 2012-13 in comparison to other states.

Twenty two States viz. A & N Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura and Uttarakhand are above the National estimate 29.23% in 2012-13.
