Percentage of Primary Schools having Drinking Water Facility

Increasing trend has been seen in India in Percentage of Primary Schools having Drinking Water Facility 91.12% in 2010-11 and 93.73% in 2012-13. Delhi has highest Percentage of Primary Schools having Drinking Water Facility 100% in both the years 2010-11 and 2012-13 Meghalaya has lowest Percentage of Primary Schools having Drinking Water Facility 57.89% in 2010-11 and 59.22% in 2012-13 in comparison to other states. Twelve States/UTs viz. Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Rajasthan and Tripura are below the National estimate 93.73% in 2012-13.
