Percentage of Net Area under Organic Farming in India from 2015-16 to 2019-20

India has witnessed an increasing trend in percentage of net area under organic farming from 2015-16 to 2019-20.

The percentage of net area under organic farming in India was 1.0671% during 2015-16. It has increased by 0.0217% to 1.0888% during 2016-17 above 2015-16. We have seen annual growth of 0.1501% in percentage of net area under organic farming in India during 2018-19 from 1.3088% during 2017-18. The percentage of net area under organic farming in India was 2.7521% during 2019-20, up by 1.2932% versus 1.4589% during 2018-19.

The maximum annual growth of 1.2932% has been observed in 2019-20 in percentage of net area under organic farming in India during the period under consideration.
