The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is the state-of-the-art R&D satellite facility of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), which also includes under its umbrella the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), the largest cancer hospital in Asia. ACTREC has the mandate to function as a national centre for treatment, research and education in cancer. TMC is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. ACTREC comprises of 2 arms – one for basic research and another for clinical research. Research investigations at CRI currently focus on molecular mechanisms responsible for causation of major human cancers relevant to India.

During the period of twelve months from January 2015 to December 2015, the total number of the laboratory Investigations at ACTREC was 84336, the total number of the surgeries at ACTREC was 2545 and the total number of the outpatients at ACTREC was 64333.

During the period of twelve months from January 2015 to December 2015, the monthly average number of the laboratory Investigations at ACTREC was 7028, the monthly average number of the surgeries at ACTREC was 212 and the monthly average number of the outpatients at ACTREC was 5361.

The maximum monthly number of laboratory Investigations at ACTREC i.e. 8580 was recorded in the month of July in the year 2015. The maximum monthly number of surgeries at ACTREC i.e. 272 was recorded in the month of July in the year 2015. The maximum monthly number of outpatients at ACTREC i.e. 6774 was recorded in the month of October in the year 2015.

During the period of twelve months from January 2015 to December 2015, the range of monthly number of the laboratory Investigations at ACTREC was between 2567 and 8580; the range of monthly number of the surgeries at ACTREC was between 174 and 272; and the range of monthly number of the outpatients at ACTREC was between 4149 and 6774.

During the period of twelve months from January 2015 to December 2015, the standard deviation of monthly number of the laboratory Investigations at ACTREC was 1626; the standard deviation of monthly number of the surgeries at ACTREC was 24; and the standard deviation of monthly number of the outpatients at ACTREC was 794.
