Para Medical Staffs in Position at District Hospitals as on 31st March 2018

As on 31st March 2018, there were 77203 (96.25%) para medical staffs in position at district hospitals in India out of sanctioned strength of 80214. The top 5 States/UTs in terms of para medical staffs in position at district hospitals as on 31st March 2018 were Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu.

The number of para medical staffs in position at district hospitals of Madhya Pradesh was 9081 (88.14%) as on 31st March 2018, which accounted 11.76% of the total para medical staffs in position at district hospitals in India. The sanctioned strength of para medical staffs at district hospitals for Madhya Pradesh was 10303 as on 31st March 2018. There were 8896 (85.22%) para medical staffs in position at district hospitals of Delhi as on 31st March 2018 out of sanctioned strength of 10439. Delhi accounted for 11.52% of the total para medical staffs in position at district hospitals in India as on 31st March 2018. The number of para medical staffs in position at district hospitals of Uttar Pradesh was 5929 (67.89%) as on 31st March 2018, which accounted 7.68% of the total para medical staffs in position at district hospitals in India. The sanctioned strength of para medical staffs at district hospitals for Madhya Pradesh was 8733 as on 31st March 2018.

There were 5881 (82.16%) and 5083 (88.93%) para medical staffs in position at district hospitals of West Bengal and Tamil Nadu respectively as on 31st March 2018. West Bengal accounted for 7.62% and Tamil Nadu accounted for 6.58% of the total para medical staffs in position at district hospitals in India as on 31st March 2018. The sanctioned strength of para medical staffs at district hospitals for West Bengal and Tamil Nadu was 7158 and 5716 respectively as on 31st March 2018.
