Operating Revenue & Operating Expenses of Air India from 2012-13 to 2016-17

Operating Revenue of Air India was Rs. 160721.1 million during 2012-13. It has increased by 18.8% to Rs. 190934.9 million during 2013-14 over 2012-13. We have seen annual decline of -3.01% in Operating Revenue of Air India during 2015-16 over 2014-15 from Rs. 206131.6 million. Operating Revenue of Air India was Rs. 218596.1 million in 2016-17, up by 9.34% from Rs. 199923.3 million in 2015-16.

Operating Expenses of Air India was Rs. 198349.9 million during 2012-13. It has increased by 12.67% to Rs. 223488.5 million during 2013-14 over 2012-13. Annual de-growth of -12.33% has been observed in Operating Expenses of Air India during 2015-16 over 2014-15 from Rs. 226854.4 million. Operating Expenses of Air India was Rs. 215615.9 million in 2016-17, up by 8.42% from Rs. 198873.3 million in 2015-16.

We have observed Operating Revenue of Air India was less than its Operating Expenses from 2012-13 to 2014-15; whereas in 2015-16 & 2016-17, Operating Revenue of Air India was more than its Operating Expenses during the period under consideration.
