Off-Grid Power Generation Capacity Target and Achievement from New and Renewable Energy Sources in 2014-15

The total target of off-grid power generation capacity was 163.3 megawatts for the year 2014-15. The achievement was 152.86 megawatts for the year 2014-15. It was 93.61% of target of off-grid power generation capacity from new and renewable energy sources in 2014-15.

The target of off-grid power generation capacity from Waste to Power was 10 megawatts for the year 2014-15. The achievement was 21.78 megawatts for the year 2014-15. It was 217.8% of target of off-grid power generation capacity from Waste to Power.

The target of off-grid power generation capacity from Biomass (Non-bagasse Cogeneration) was 80 megawatts for the year 2014-15. The achievement was 60.05 megawatts for the year 2014-15. It was 75.06% of target of off-grid power generation capacity from Biomass (Non-bagasse Cogeneration).

The target of off-grid power generation capacity from Aero-Generators/ Hybrid Systems was 0.5 megawatts for the year 2014-15. The achievement was 0.27 megawatts for the year 2014-15. It was 54% of target of off-grid power generation capacity from Aero-Generators/ Hybrid Systems.

The target of off-grid power generation capacity from Solar Photo-Voltaic (SPV) Systems was 60 megawatts for the year 2014-15. The achievement was 60 megawatts for the year 2014-15. It was 100% of target of off-grid power generation capacity from SPV Systems.

The target of off-grid power generation capacity from Water Mills (WMs) / Micro/Mini-Hydel Plants was 4 megawatts for the year 2014-15. The achievement was 4 megawatts for the year 2014-15.
