This indicator provided the number of patents issued (granted) from 2015-16 to 2020-21. A total number of 28,391 patents issued (granted) in 2020-21 followed by 24,936 number of patents issued (granted) in 2019-20, 15,283 number of patents issued (granted) in 2018-19, 13,045 number of patents issued (granted) in 2017-18, 9,847 number of patents issued (granted) in 2016-17, and 6,326 number of patents issued (granted) in 2015-16.
