Net Revenue Accrued to Railways from 2014-15 to 2018-19

Net revenue accrued to Railways was Rs. 16,838 crore in 2014-15. It has increased by 14.19% to Rs. 19,228 crore during 2015-16 above 2014-15. In absolute term, the increase was Rs. 2,390 crore during 2015-16 against 2014-15. We have observed annual decline of -66.09% in accrued net income to Railways during 2017-18 from Rs. 4,913 crore during 2016-17. In absolute term, it has shrunk by Rs. -3247 crore during 2017-18 over 2016-17. Net revenue accrued to Railways was Rs. 3,774 crore during 2018-19, up by 126.53% versus Rs. 1,666 crore during 2017-18.

The maximum net revenue accrued to Railways was Rs. 19,228 crore in 2015-16 during the period under consideration. The minimum net revenue accrued to Railways was Rs. 1,666 crore in 2017-18 during the period under consideration.
