Natural Gas Production in Various States from 2010-11 to 2013-14

The state wise natural gas production in the onshore area is as described below: The total natural gas production of Gujarat was 2262 Million Metric Standard Cubic Meters (MMSCM) in the year 2010-11. It decreased to 1657 MMSCM in the year 2013-14, recording a decrease of -605 MMSCM (-26.75%) as compared to 2010-11. The total natural gas production of Assam was 2680 MMSCM in the year 2010-11. It increased to 2868 MMSCM in the year 2013-14, recording an increase of 188 MMSCM (7.01%) as compared to 2010-11. The total natural gas production of Arunachal Pradesh was 44 MMSCM in the year 2010-11. It decreased to 41 MMSCM in the year 2013-14, recording a decrease of -3 MMSCM (-6.82%) as compared to 2010-11.

The total natural gas production of Tripura was 610 MMSCM in the year 2010-11. It increased to 822 MMSCM in the year 2013-14, recording an increase of 212 MMSCM (34.75%) as compared to 2010-11. The total natural gas production of Tamil Nadu was 1119 MMSCM in the year 2010-11. It increased to 1304 MMSCM in the year 2013-14, recording an increase of 185 MMSCM (16.53%) as compared to 2010-11. The total natural gas production of Andhra Pradesh was 1384 MMSCM in the year 2010-11. It decreased to 1171 MMSCM in the year 2013-14, recording a decrease of -213 MMSCM (-15.39%) as compared to 2010-11. The total natural gas production of Rajasthan was 432 MMSCM in the year 2010-11. It increased to 982 MMSCM in the year 2013-14, recording an increase of 550 MMSCM (127.31%) as compared to 2010-11.

Thus, Rajasthan recorded the highest growth rate in total natural gas production during the years from 2010-11 to 2013-14.
