National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS) Beneficiaries from 2002-03 to 2014-15

National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS) is a social sector scheme and forms part of the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) which came into effect from 15^th August, 1995. This scheme provides social assistance and benefits to the eligible families.

The number of beneficiaries reported under NFBS was 85209 in 2002-03. The number of beneficiaries reported under NFBS was 209456 in 2003-04. It increased by 124247 as compared to 2002-03. In percentage terms, the growth was 145.81% during the period. The number of beneficiaries reported under NFBS was 261981 in 2004-05. It increased by 52525 as compared to 2003-04. In percentage terms, the growth was 25.08% during the period.

The number of beneficiaries reported under NFBS was 276737 in 2005-06. It increased by 14756 as compared to 2004-05. In percentage terms, the growth was 5.63% during the period. The number of beneficiaries reported under NFBS was 243972 in 2006-07. It decreased by -32765 as compared to 2005-06. In percentage terms, the decrease was -11.84% during the period. The number of beneficiaries reported under NFBS was 334153 in 2007-08. It increased by 90181 as compared to 2006-07. In percentage terms, the growth was 36.96% during the period. The number of beneficiaries reported under NFBS was 423292 in 2008-09. It increased by 89139 as compared to 2007-08. In percentage terms, the growth was 26.68% during the period. The number of beneficiaries reported under NFBS was 343726 in 2009-10. It decreased by -79566 as compared to 2008-09. In percentage terms, the decrease was -18.8% during the period. The number of beneficiaries reported under NFBS was 335044 in 2010-11. It decreased by -8682 as compared to 2009-10. In percentage terms, the decrease was -2.53% during the period.

The number of beneficiaries reported under NFBS was 330240 in 2011-12. It decreased by -4804 as compared to 2010-11. In percentage terms, the decrease was -1.43% during the period. The number of beneficiaries reported under NFBS was 386005 in 2012-13. It increased by 55765 as compared to 2011-12. In percentage terms, the growth was 16.89% during the period. The number of beneficiaries reported under NFBS was 277537 in 2013-14. It decreased by -108468 as compared to 2012-13. In percentage terms, the decrease was -28.1% during the period. The number of beneficiaries reported under NFBS was 293977 in 2014-15. It increased by 16440 as compared to 2013-14. In percentage terms, the growth was 5.92% during the period.
