Modified NAIS - Kharif Season

The graph shown below explains the number of Crop Cutting Experiments planned in the villages in Kharif season for different crops such as Sugarcane, Groundnut, Paddy etc., in the districts of Cuddalore, Namakkal and Sivagangai in Tamilnadu for the year 2016-17.

The highest number of Crop Cutting Experiments was carried out in several villages for Groundnut (3960, 495 villages), followed by Paddy K/K/S (1832, 458 villages), Sugarcane (788, 197 villages), Banana (320, 80 villages), Cumbu (220, 55 villages), Tapioca (200, 50 villages), Greengram (132, 33 villages), Maize (112, 28 villages) and Turmeric (16, 4 villages), and Onion (8, 2 villages).
